Available tomorrowHi! I am 62 years old—a survivor, an overcomer, and a woman of faith who has lived through chronic health challenges, PTSD, grief, anxiety, and trauma. I have survived mental and physical trauma, including religious trauma, dysfunctional family dynamics, narcissistic behaviors, gaslighting, abandonment, rejection, and power and control. As the youngest of five children, these experiences affected how I saw myself for many years. Through separation, healing, faith, and self-discovery, I began to find freedom. I discovered my identity, embraced my positive qualities, and learned that I am more than what happened to me. Throughout my life, I have experienced tremendous grief. I lost a sibling in 1989, my father in 2015, my mother in 2022, and other loved ones along the way. Each loss became part of my journey and helped shape the woman I am today. I am the mother of one son and grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren. My family has faced challenges, including ADHD, PTSD, and childhood seizures, yet I also see incredible gifts, talents, strength, and potential beyond measure. From 2014 until June 2022, I was my mother's caregiver as she lived with dementia. It was one of the hardest challenges of my life. It brought me to my knees and taught me to move beyond codependency and place my complete trust in God. It taught me humility and helped me discover purpose in my pain. Although my mother had four living children, I often felt I stood alone. Others may have considered me the "black sheep," but I came to believe God had chosen and set me apart for something greater. My mother was one of my greatest influences and mentors, and I loved her dearly. My son and I are also walking through our healing journey—recovering from childhood trauma, rebuilding our relationship, and seeking spiritual healing. After 13 years of estrangement, we are reconnecting and learning how to bond again. I'm not where I want to be, but thank God, I'm not where I used to be. In 2012, substance use (prescribed medication) and an eating disorder became ways of trying to escape a painful world. But God said, "You shall live and not die." And I am still here—to use my lived experience to encourage others and share how I survived, healed, and overcame. I am an expressive writer. Poetry and spoken words allow me to release the bad, the good, and the ugly. Paper does not judge. Writing advocates and gives a voice to the voiceless. The pen 🖊 spills what our lips cannot speak—our truth. My motto is: "Knowledge Brings Clarity, and Clarity Brings Power." Professionally, I am a faith-based Certified Peer Specialist (CRSS), Dementia Facilitator, and Resource Specialist supporting women and children impacted by domestic violence. My lived experiences have shaped my passion for advocacy, education, peer support, and helping others find resources, hope, and a voice. Through everything I have endured, I have learned that every attack does not deserve a reaction. I have learned when to be silent, when to speak, and—most importantly—when to walk away. In 2025, I became a curse breaker. Through the wisdom of God and clarity received from a deeply personal experience with Him, I began breaking down layers of generational pain and trauma. My healing became about more than me. It became about what I would pass down to my son, grandchildren, and generations to come. Instead of passing down the pain of the past, I choose to pass down the greatest gift God has given us—the gift of LOVE and how to acknowledge a LIE vs the TRUTH. My journey is about healing the inner child, breaking down every layer, and gaining clarity for mental health wellness, spiritual healing, and freedom. I am breaking what no longer needs to continue. I am healing what was once left wounded. I am replacing generational pain with generational love. My global brand is Rebirth4Love—representing survival, transformation, healing, purpose, faith, generational change, unconditional love, and the power to begin again. My message to the world is: OUR PAST DOES NOT DEFINE OUR DESTINY! There is life after trauma, purpose after pain, love after rejection, freedom after breaking generational cycles, and always an opportunity for rebirth.

My lived experience in navigating anxiety, depression, panic, agoraphobia, and addiction recovery, has fueled my commitment to supporting others navigating their own paths to healing. In recent years, I have focused on mastering my self-care journey, developing resilience against anxiety, panic, and depression. This personal work has refined my natural empathy and creativity, allowing me to show up authentically and compassionately. Available tomorrowI put my family through a lot of pain with my choices, and during my incarceration I didn’t fully understand the emotional burden they carried. They never received support for their fear, confusion, or the stigma they faced. Now, I’m committed to using my lived experience to help families who are going through what mine went through. I now understand both sides — the person inside and the family outside — and I want to create a space where families feel seen, supported, and no longer alone.

Lucinda Black
Available todayI spent more than 23 years in 911 emergency communications — a dispatcher, trainer, and supervisor, the calm voice on the other end of people's worst moments. I learned exactly what it does to a body to absorb crisis after crisis and then be expected to clock out, drive home, and just power down like nothing happened. My body never got that memo. For years I lived with the fallout, and I want to be honest about what that actually looked like: anxiety that hummed under everything, panic attacks that came out of nowhere, nights I couldn't sleep no matter how exhausted I was, reaching for whatever food was fast instead of what would actually help me, and a stubborn guilt every single time I tried to put myself first. What I learned — slowly, and not on my own — is that all of it is workable. I learned how to steady the panic, how to actually rest, how to make different choices, and how to care for myself without apologizing for it. I'm Lucinda, a Certified Peer Support Specialist and a graduate student in clinical mental health counseling with a specialty in trauma. Today I work in a behavioral health hospital, where I facilitate groups and walk alongside people through some of the hardest stretches of their lives. But the part of me that connects most isn't the training — it's that I've stood right where so many people are standing now, and I found my way back out. I'd like to help you find yours.

Available tomorrowMy brain's… a lot. If yours is too, you're in good company! At my core, I'm a punkish creative & introspective nerd type. Hence why I get along with misfits so well. But I've spent most of my life feeling out of step—too much, not enough, and under a dark cloud I couldn't name. In my 30s I discovered I'm autistic with a side helping of ADHD. That was on top of a long history of anxiety, anorexia, trauma, and depression telling me I'm garbage. Footnote: I'm not, and you're probably not either. Life's thrown me its share of UGH and I've spent a lot of time learning to stop hating my brain. Still kind of a love/hate relationship, actually. But progress is progress. On paper, I’m a Certified Peer Support Specialist with ongoing training and all that. In practice, I’m just someone who’s been through a lot of the same mental health mess and sits in it with you.

Windy Hsieh
Available tomorrowHi! I'm Windy, a bi-racial military brat - born in Asia and raised for 17 years without roots stationed across the US and overseas. I am also a survivor of childhood sexual trauma, managing co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders. I have traced my mental health and substance abuse issues to childhood trauma and toxic family of origin. I know, it's a lot to juggle, but I bet my story sounds familiar, right? I have attended years of in-person therapy and Intensive Outpatient Groups for Major Depression, Anxiety, PTSD and poly-substance abuse. (For the record, if anyone tries to take my caffeine addiction away - that's a hard NO!) At one point, I was incarcerated as a result of my substance abuse and found myself trying to figure out how to kill myself in jail. I survived by getting intensive treatment, researching alternative/complementary therapies to medication and finding support groups to share my story. I am learning to love myself, discover my true identity and find some moments of peace and laughter along the way. If there is anything I can do to support and prevent another person from slipping into a dark hole contemplating suicide...I've been there. It's why I got certified as a PRSS. Let's talk, let's try to laugh and let's heal together. Ps- I LOVE knitting (it helped me quit smoking), I HATE chores (my house is a mess) AND I'm trying REALLY hard to stop swearing (as much) this year

Tondra Mosley
Available tomorrowMy name is Tondra “Poetic Sense” Mosley, and my life taught me about healing before I ever had the words for it. I’ve walked through health scares, emotional rebuilding, seasons of deep uncertainty, and the kind of quiet battles that change how you see yourself. Faith carried me, but so did honest community — spaces where I didn’t have to be strong, polished, or put together to be accepted. That’s where my calling was shaped. Today I serve as a healing curator, bestselling author, and trauma-informed peer support advocate. I create spaces where people can exhale. Spaces where we talk about what’s heavy without shame and what’s hopeful without pretending the work is easy. My work centers Black women’s mental health while welcoming anyone who is seeking restoration, reflection, and growth. My foundation is faith-based, but my approach is compassionate, never forced. I believe healing is sacred, and sacred things should be handled with care. I meet people where they are and honor their pace, their story, and their dignity. Through affirmation, conversation, and shared humanity, I help people reconnect with their voice, their resilience, and their purpose. You don’t have to arrive whole to sit in this space. You just have to arrive.

Michelle Haughton
Available tomorrowI’m Michelle Haughton, a trauma-informed life coach, author, and community builder. My story begins with the tragic loss of my father before I turned one. Growing up with that pain shaped my understanding of grief and unprocessed trauma, but it also led me to discover the power of healing. Through my own journey, I’ve learned that healing isn’t about forgetting the past — it’s about transforming it into strength and purpose. Now, I help others release their pain, process their trauma, and create lives filled with peace, clarity, and abundance.

Available tomorrowFor many years, I believed I would need my eating disorder to stay in control of my life. I know what it's like to feel trapped by anxiety, overwhelmed by mental health challenges, and unsure if recovery is really possible. I also understand the unique challenges of living with a chronic illness while trying to prioritize both physical and mental health. Today, I can honestly say that recovery has given me a life I never thought was possible. My lived experience led me to become a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist and Behavioral Health Case Manager because I believe no one should have to face recovery alone and everyone should have access to care and resources. I know how powerful it is to have someone who truly understands. My approach is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I believe recovery isn't about perfection. Recovery is about progress, self-compassion, and learning to build a life that feels meaningful. Whether you're navigating an eating disorder, anxiety, depression, or the challenges of living with a chronic illness, I'm here to listen, encourage, and help you recognize your own strengths. In my professional role, I support individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges through goal setting, coping skills, resource navigation, psychiatric rehabilitation, and recovery-focused conversations. I also love using creativity, art, and mindfulness as tools for healing because there is no one-size-fits-all approach to recovery. I'm honored to walk alongside others on their recovery journey and hope to offer the same understanding, encouragement, and belief in recovery that was once offered to me.

Available tomorrowI am passionate about advocating for victims of trauma, domestic violence, strangulation, brain injury, and recovery. As a survivor, I bring my lived experiences to the changes I want to see in the world. When I started my recovery journey, I wish peer support had been an option. I am so grateful it is now. It is an honor to be a part of it. On the personal/hobby side, I enjoy cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time with my family. Pinterest is my happy place! One day, I'll get around to making all of the recipes I've pinned, and my yard will be a showstopper with my DIY projects.

Available tomorrowI am here to be a compassionate and accepting support as someone who has experienced significant and complex trauma that led to my own path of healing that is non-linear and shaped by the strength of my ancestors and culture. I am bilingual and would love to connect anyone who speaks Spanish or is from a different culture, as I believe learning and connecting with others fosters belonging and compassion which we all need. I hope to nurture the healing of mind, body, and soul by incorporating each individual's culture and knowledge into a path towards creating a fulfilling and authentic life.
