Shawnti B.

(she/her)

Hi, my name is Shawnti. I'm a mother, sister, and friend: but first, I am ME. I became a Master Certified Mental Health Coach and Advocate after having a mental breakdown in 2018. Since being on my healing journey, I found my purpose which is to help women to not go through what I went through, and if they have, to know they are not alone and there is hope & healing in a safe, non-judgmental space. In 2025, I was awarded the Mental Health Phenomenon for my work throughout the community. Who is Shawnti? I'm a funny, outspoken, confident, laid back, no-nonsense woman. I'm a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have three adult children. I live in the suburbs of Houston, TX. I'm pretty much an open book as I use my personal story to help others.

Host Reviews

"Real growth is growth that feels uncomfortable. I don't know of any other person I've worked with that really helped me to face these uncomfortable things that need to be worked through. Halfway through working with Shawnti in a 12 week program and we are really getting to the deep stuff now. Thank you!"

"Shawnti's groups are amazing. It feels safe secure & I learn well listening to others who struggled in my same areas. The journal prompts are thought proving & cause me to go introspectively. I really enjoyed the visual exercise today. Thank you everyone & you Shawnti for hosting. "

"My phone died all of a sudden at the end. I’m so happy you’re back and thank you for the visualization. It made me realize how heavy things have been. I needed that reality check! Looking to move forward without all that weight. Thank you thank you 💜"
