Relaxing Breathwork

Every breath is a new beginning 🕊️ This gentle breathwork session is designed for all experience levels. We start with light seated stretches, followed by guided practices of diaphragmatic (belly) breathing, alternate nostril breathing, humming bee breaths, box breathing, and the 4-7-8 method. These may vary slightly week-to-week. All you need is a quiet, comfortable space and a desire to bring some relaxation into your day. For extra comfort: • Wear loose clothing • Consider dim lighting and a scented candle • Consider ambient background sound on YouTube Benefits: Breathwork (intentional breath control) is a powerful mindfulness tool to reduce anxiety, improve mood and strengthen the mind-body connection. These breathing techniques activate our parasympathetic ‘rest and digest’ nervous system response, helping us achieve a deeply restorative state of calm. By regularly engaging the parasympathetic response, we improve our ability to recover from stress and access relaxation more easily when we need it. Our shared intention and collective calm makes it even stronger via co-regulation. 🤍 We have an hour slot to allow for flexibility, but the session usually takes 45 minutes 🕊️
