(She/Her)
I spent 25 years searching for answers before getting my autism diagnosis as an adult. After realising how little support there is post-diagnosis, I started creating content to connect with others like me—late-diagnosed autistic adults looking for community and understanding. Originally from New Zealand, I recently moved to Canada, am writing a book, and building a life I once didn’t think was possible, sharing my journey to help others feel less alone.

"Always a great experience in Elena's group. I appreciate her authenticity and honesty. It was a very safe space to be. Highly recommend!! "
"Always greatly appreciate Elena's sessions. I truly feel seen and heard. Elena is also very genuine and authentic and allows group members to be a well. There is no need to mask here. She makes herself vulnerable and shows its safe to be vulnerable here. The experience is very cathartic. Highly recommend her sessions. "

"This was my first session; it was a very comforting and inclusive space, and I feel like I got a lot out of it despite all the technical difficulties that the host, Elena adapted to like a pro. Thank you for the experience! "
"Always a fantastic session with a fantastic host Elena is truly amazing person and I always appreciate what she shares and how she can unmask with all of us even as we experience challenges in life and internet troubles. She has helped make 2025 better for me. A great human being, and wish her all the best for Happy Holidays! And Happy New Year and Happy Old Year!"

What I Hope to Share
Naturally, I’m very shy and introverted. If I were to attend an in-person meeting (which chances are I probably wouldn’t), I’d be sitting at the back of the room, listening to everyone else long before I felt brave enough to speak. Leading sessions and holding important conversations is completely outside my comfort zone, but it’s also an important step for me. Through this work, I’m learning to use my voice, let my vulnerabilities be seen, and slowly unmask alongside others who get it.
What Brought Me to ShareWell
After receiving my autism diagnosis at 25, I felt completely unsure about how to move forward. I didn’t know what life was supposed to look like now, or where I fit. I started speaking openly about that confusion online, and what surprised me most was this: hings make so much more sense when you’re not figuring them out alone. Connecting with others around the world helped me make sense of my experience, I found language, validation, and connection. I joined ShareWell to help create those conversations for others who are still learning about their full identity.
