I'm a 51 year old Christian neurodivergent (AuDHD) and am a Certified Peer Host on ShareWell. I love music, art, animal, plants, and have struggled with depression all my life. I have several chronic pain disorders, as well. My faith is key to my identity. I rely heavily on Him to sustain me through the difficulties that I face while living with chronic illnesses. I remain inclusive of those of other religions, identities, and differences. We are all created equal in His image; His love covers all. I have a horrible propensity to procrastinate. Motivation is a constant struggle for me. It has been made all the worse since Mom's passing in December of 2025. This is not my first encounter with intense grief. As a freshman in college, I learned that my best friend had taken her life. I've dealt with a lot of guilt over the years since. Mom's final months have just added new layers to that guilt. In my head, I know the price was paid to remove all guilt, but getting that to my heart is another matter. Working through the GriefShare program has brought 2 other losses to the surface - my former father-in-law a few months after my divorce was finalized, and my neighbor, my childhood friend, the day before Christmas of 2024. I did not get to say goodbye to either of them and there are factors around both deaths that still bother me. These feelings are something I continue to work on in my own personal therapy. I pray that my experiences can be used to benefit others. I aim to be supportive of all views and struggles; to help in the best way that I can.
Host Reviews
"Loved getting some self care in with Jenny anf gang. The somatic groups are my fave. Thank youuuu."
"Jenny is a wonderful host. I really enjoy stretching, as I try to incorporate it daily. I will definitely be back, thank you everyone & thank you Jenny for hosting."
"Good body doubling session. It was my first one on here and I got a bit done. I’ve been on many video chats for “coworking” for entrepreneurs or “goal setting” with friends here and there, which are similar. It helps to have those other “bodies” there as company for getting things done and helping us hold ourselves accountable. Jenny is a nice person and I enjoy her support groups."
"Thank you so much for showing me these stretches. Going to use them once I get done with my commute."

What I Hope to Share
I have a lifetime of experience with depression and ADHD that might be helpful to others. I recently received my diagnosis for autism. This has explained so much of my past. I hope to learn from others who have also been on this journey. I'm open to answering questions about the misconceptions of Christianity. It is greatly misrepresented these days, and I find that sad. More Christians are kind and accepting than a lot of people think. Jesus loves you no matter what!
What Brought Me to ShareWell
I saw it on Facebook and was drawn to the free group option. What keeps me here as a Chore member is the invaluable support of the other people here, no matter their background, briefs, identity, or situation. Most of the groups I've joined have been wonderful and I look forward to being here for many years to come. Hosting has been a big challenge for me, as I'm not a natural at leading others, but it has also be very rewarding. I fully recommend checking out the peer host training they offer and trying to lead a group yourself.
