I have overcome many issues in my life but still have this underlying anxiety. I got certified with EFT as a way of understanding how emotions get trapped in our bodies. Tapping, can be a way of opening up to our subconscious minds, lowering the stress hormone cortisol, and moving out of flight, fight, and freeze mode. Tapping in a group can bring on borrowing benefits whereby tapping on someone else's problem can reduce stress in oneself. We will look at different problems on an intensity scale of 1-10, with 10 being the most intense. We will also be learning somatic tools, vagus nerve reset exercises, like self-havening to tone our parasympathetic nervous system.
